Sohaib’s journey began with a love for architecture and a restless urge to tell stories that couldn’t be confined to paper. With a degree in architecture and a growing fascination with film, he made the leap from floor plans to film reels, swapping AutoCAD for Adobe and models for motion.

Today, Sohaib sees himself as an architect of stories, a filmmaker of spaces: someone who’s fascinated by how light shifts, how shadows play, and how every corner might hide a little story waiting to be uncovered.

What truly sets him apart? It’s his uncanny ability to approach each project with a fresh perspective, crafting bespoke, inventive solutions that feel as unique as the structures he films. His background in architecture, mixed with his love for films helps him create work that’s just not visually striking but emotionally engaging. Whether it’s a home brimming with character or a sprawling campus filled with untold stories, Sohaib uncovers the magic within, and delivers it with cinematic charm and a touch of creative brilliance.

His work has earned him global recognition. In 2023, he was honored as Architectural Videographer of the Year by Architizer and received the Best Architecture Video Firm award from Loop Design Awards. His film The Vaulted School was shown at the Copenhagen Architecture Festival and Venice Architecture Film Festival: moments that made him realize how powerful a well-told story can be.

Fast forward to 2025, and his film The House of Memories won top honors at the Greece International Film Festival, while two of his other projects, Rehethaan and Hampi Art Labs, were officially selected for the Psarokokalo International Short Film Festival and the Caesar Design Film Award at the Ennesimo Film Festival, respectively, proving that a good story about space can connect across borders.

He’s also been a keynote speaker at the Architizer Film Festival and was also on the jury for the Architecture Hunter Awards 2024: still asking questions, still chasing stories, and always exploring how space can move us, literally and emotionally
